The Foundations of Universal Assembly of Yahweh Miami
We are a ministry that believe that the Holy Scriptures are true, and that it is the words of the Heavenly Father. We believe and teach that the name of the Heavenly Father is "Yahweh" and the name of his only begotten Son the Messiah is "Yahshua" which means "Yahweh is salvation.
We teach and believe that the seventh-day weekly Sabbath and the seven annual Feasts Days are to be observed as instructed and commanded in the Scriptures. This includes the clean food laws found in Leviticus 11. None of the commandments and statutes given by the Heavenly Father in the old testament have been changed or done away with.
Elder Errol Garrick is the Senior Pastor of Assembly of Yahweh Miami. He was baptized in the name of Yahshua at the young age of nineteen in Jamaica, W.I. From the very beginning of his walk with Yahweh he was gifted with inspiration by music, both by instrument and verbalisation, in addition to the gift of teaching the Word of Yahweh. He was ordained Pastor of the Assembly of Yahweh Miami on 3, May 1986.
Elder Tony Bethel, is the Assistant Pastor of the Assembly of Yahweh Miami. Elder Bethel is a gentle yet strong man that has a gift of story telling. This allows him to impart the Word of Yahweh in a simple way with impact that anyone can understand. He is also a very good mentor to the youth of the Assembly.
Lady Phillip has been walking with Yahweh from a very tender age. Upon emigrating to the Florida from Jamaica, W.I. she was led by the Holy Spirit to children of Yahweh who were scattered. She began to have gatherings in her bedroom, then garage, until Yahweh provided a more suitable place for fellowship. As a result of her steadfastness and obedience to Yahweh word began to spread, many in Florida would come to fellowship and in 1985 the Assembly of Yahweh Miami was registered.
In the fall of 1985, Lady Phillip relinquished oversight of the Assembly to Pastor Errol Garrick
